About Me.
Hello, my name is Leon Bahar. I am a composer, producer, orchestrator and conductor based between Bath and London, England. I recently graduated from Leeds Conservatoire's Film Music degree, with a 1st degree honours. Since then, I have been continually scoring a few short documentaries and animations which are almost finished.

In addition to my love for composition, I am also a musician and play the guitar, piano and violin. I believe having a firm understanding of a few instruments can really enhance your work as a composer, as you can play in a lot of the parts yourself.

In this coming year, I hope to continue scoring films and improving my craft, as well as working my way into the game music industry. As a gamer myself, I have always massively appreciated music in games and would love to be a part of the creative process.

I work as an orchestrator and consider myself to have a comprehensive knowledge of the ins and outs out of the orchestra. Furthermore, I also did a year of conducting training which expanded my perception of the orchestra as well as finding another aspect of the industry that I adore!

If you're looking to collaborate please get in touch, I'm always ready to get started on a new project!

Education
2017 - 2019
A levels (Chemistry, Music, Music Technology)
Ralph Allen School
I studied Music and Music Technology at A level, which is where I started to explore the world of music for media. I wrote film music for my composition assignments and was encouraged to pursue it further by my teachers.
2020 - 2023
BA (Hons) Music (Film Music)
Leeds Conservatoire
During my time at Leeds Conservatoire, I was primarily focused on composing orchestral music and towards the end of my degree became very interested in electronic music too. I learnt all the skills I needed in order to feel confident approaching any piece of media.
